Substance Abuse Treatment Services
STARS: Substance Abuse Treatment for Adolescent Recovery and Success (STARS) is a 15 bed facility offering adolescent substance abuse services statewide, 24 hours daily, for males and females ages 12 – 18. STARS offers residential and outpatient services, as well as initial assessments, drug screening, and family counseling.
Ames: Ames outpatient treatment is located in Story County and serves folks that may need evaluations, substance abuse education and treatment, and/or may need to complete Prime for Life (drunk driving school). We assist those that would benefit from more education on substances and how to make healthier decisions, reduce risky behaviors and learn efficient coping skills. We also provide individual and group therapy to those that may need more extensive support in understanding how their substance use has affected their life. We offer support, advocacy, encouragement and education to those that we serve.
We also have outpatient treatment services located in Boone as well. They offer the same treatment options except the Prime for Life.
Fort Dodge: Community & Family Resources strive to provide client centered substance abuse and treatment for those in need while reducing as many barriers as possible to access these services. CFR in the Fort Dodge area provides intensive and extended outpatient treatment services for Fort Dodge as well as outreach office located in Webster City, Rockwell City, Clarion, Pocahontas, and Humboldt.
