![]() "Untapped Potential" is the best way to describe what my life was like before coming to CFR. I was living without direction, without purpose and without the ability to really enjoy simple pleasures in life. Now, over 12 years later, I have purpose. I have direction and I can really appreciate all that life has to offer. With the help and guidance from CFR, I have been able to change that "untapped potential" into a Master’s degree in business and live a very enriched life. Most importantly though, my children only know their father as someone who is always there and is devoted to their own happiness and well-being. It really can work! |
Evaluations and Assessments
Are you concerned that you or someone you care about has a problem with drinking, drugs, or gambling? Community and Family Resources offers adult and adolescent evaluations and assessments to help determine the extent of an individual’s potential problem. Assessments, done by certified counselors, consider the client’s physical, emotional, mental, and behavioral conditions as well as information on family and addiction problems. Referrals can then be made to the most appropriate level of services at CFR or to other community resources. Individuals, family members, and other concerned persons can call CFR for help; referrals can also be made by physicians, healthcare workers, social service workers, or employers. CFR is qualified to provide mandatory OWI evaluations required by the state of Iowa. Crisis intervention is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week! |
